So glad you popped by. I’m Kate, the founder of Angels Armour. Born and bred in Nottingham, I still live here with my husband Gav and our two gorgeous daughters Kitty and Nancy.

I've always been someone who likes to make a statement with what I wear, definitely not someone who likes to follow fashion or convention. I often get raised eyebrows from my husband and kids when I sashay down the stairs ready to party! I have never cared what people think about my outfits or accessories but they are always met with admiration from other women so I feel like I must be doing something right. 

I'm a jewellery junkie, I have so much of the stuff, I'm obsessed. What I love most about jewellery is that you can be wearing any outfit and by adding your own "armour" you are making a style statement that is a true reflection of your personality, style and who you are. I see it as the cherry on top of the cake, the final piece of armour. Jewellery to me, gives the wearer an extra layer of confidence and self-expression, which we all need right?

Whenever I go on holiday I ALWAYS buy a new piece of jewellery. My poor family just sweating on the streets while I choose the perfect, unique treasure for my trove. 

Angels Armour is a place where you can find one off special pieces of jewellery that I've carefully curated myself for you.  Some of them old and some of them new but all of them beautiful and with longevity in mind.

I have recently started an amazing course to learn the craft of silversmithing - I'm really enjoying my classes and never want them to end. Eventually, I'll be able to add my own designs and creations alongside all of the treasures I'm curating. I can't wait for this. I don't think I've ever been so excited about something. Being able to create the very thing I'm so passionate about will be so rewarding. I'm dreaming of the day I'll see my own designs in Liberty's of London - well, a girls gotta dream!

Now I just need to make sure I'm not keeping all of these beautiful finds for myself!
